Since 2013, Opus6 has been released in the spring and fall annually. Every year, six rare vintage Fuente Aged Selection cigars are selected by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. and presented in the limited edition travel humidors produced by Prometheus. Each set is serial-numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity, A portion of the sales proceeds is donated to Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, which strives to improve underprivileged children’s lives in the Bonao region of the Dominican Republic.

In 2011 and 2012, four rare vintage Fuente Aged Selection cigars selected by Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. were released in the limited edition travel humidors produced by Prometheus as Opus4. Starting in Fall 2013, six rare vintage Fuente Aged Selection cigars have been released as Opus6.
